Our Founder, Shante Berry birthed Berry Best Publishing on the principles of faith, ambition, and triumph. By age 12 Shanté Berry was a published author of poetry and literature in her hometown of Saint Louis, MO. However, by age 21 she was a homeless college student after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the city of New Orleans.
She had to learn to overcome storms early in life.
Today, Shante' Berry is an author, motivational speaker, National ambassador & the reigning Ms. Black Globe United States, mentor, entrepreneur, and catalyst for positive change. Shanté was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri. Ms.Berry developed a passion for writing early and started writing her first book "Ride It Out" while in college. As a Hurricane Katrina Survivor, she has transformed her pain into progress by publishing her first book Titled: Ride It Out: Transforming Storms Into Greatness.
Ms. Berry’s writing has been featured in Essence Magazine and Sheen Magazine. Shante's vision for social change has been validated by her impacting over 5,000 students in her extensive volunteering efforts throughout the years which inspired the creation of the Success Seekers Curriculum. She has been a mentor for young girls ages 10-18 for over 12 years. Her Success Seekers Curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of her student population and professional clients.
